Kfir Bar is a leading researcher in NLP and AI, currently serving as Senior Lecturer of Computer Science at Reichman University. His work spans core NLP areas — from statistical machine translation and named-entity recognition to applied language understanding and digital humanities — bridging academic research and real-world applications. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and has extensive industry experience, including founding tech ventures and serving as Chief Scientist at major NLP firms. His research focuses on low-resource and highly inflected languages including Hebrew, Arabic, Sanskrit and Tibetan.
